Remove 'new products' image

Hey, I just have a couple questions about this cart before I can launch my site. I am almost finished so I would appreciate anyones help i these simple issue

my site is: www.stretchshapes.net

I need to know how to make the cart never show 'new' products. They should all just look the same
Next i need to know how to take out the quanities period and have it only say 'made to order'
And last on the product page, i would like the dropdown menu to be ordered small to large not numerically

For the "New" issue:

In the back office, go to Preferences, then Products Settings

There you can set the number of days during which a product is considered new - if you put 0 I think the new sign will never show.

ive done that andrew and its been months and it still says new any other ideas? Where can i find the file and just remove the icon pic that says new?
