New to Prestashop Happy but also Disappointed

I worked with other ecommece software, but have little knowledge of Prestashop. Prestashop was recommended to me to check out and try. After doing my own research I decided to use Prestashop for a clients B2B Online Store. 

 

I have to say overall I am impressed with the carts functionality even though the B2B functionality is light. I have also had some questions and issues in the implantation of the clients store. New to Prestashop I went to the forums hoping to get some answers. I have to say, I am disappointed with the prestashop tech forums. I have worked with other ecommerce forum sites and received a response even if the response did not resolve the issue. 

 

I have posted several times in the Tech forum regarding issues and questions I have with prestashop and silence. I would have hope that someone would chim in to help resolve/answer or point me in the right direction. 

 

 

I understand there are other forum post more important then mine and it takes time to respond to all the post, but I hope that someone will take a moment to respond to mine.

Hi Mark,

 

I've reviewed your existing posts and responded.  It can be frustrating getting community type support when one is newer to platform and best way to handle different situations i.e. requires development or create bug report.  

 

I think once you get the hang of it you will see better community support, and please also visit and help others as you learn.

 

The following last couple weeks have been a slack time for many shop managers and I see community involvement picking back up again. :))
