id_Country is required + Country cannot be loaded with address->id_country

HI,

 

Been on this for a couple of days now I'm not sure what's happening here.

 

I get this error:

 

1. id_country is required.

2. Country cannot be loaded with address->id_country

3. Country is invalid

 

For any other country excluding United Kingdom.

 

In shipping location it's all ticked, it's when the customer signs up . Link to my test site: https://testspares.thechartshow.com - Ignore SSL cert error. It's a copy of our real site

 you'll see the registration please select any other Country and the error will appear. 

 

The install was scripted by the hosting company, I just clicked install. and vs 11 was an 1 click upgrade.

 

I've done modifications to add a few bits like the SVG's and some fields that where not necessary. I also replaced address.tpl as per a post I saw, still didn't do it.

 

I'm using this theme - http://addons.prestashop.com/en/high-tech/17392-cords-wires-store.html

also running both 1.6.0.9 and 1.6.0.11 (11 is on the link above)

 

Wondered if anyone could think of anything?

I also see this error in the console, but it's unrelated to the issue I'm having, If you disable Quick search block in your modules that message will go away. 

Not had time to investigate that issue as the country thing has caused a major problem.... They only found this problem out by going live that country won't work!! Even though they claimed its been tested fully.

Fixed, was Authentication file being funny, I added some extra code and managed to get them inside the tags of account creation. also a few other things like Address.tpl I replaced after a code problem that fixed it. It's like you go through 1 hop to find 2 more!
