Available label doesn't show up

Recommended Posts

I do not know why for many products on my store the "Available" label doesn't shown even if quantities are >0.

If I enable to show the quantity number this comes up or if the products has zero quantity I get the standard message "The product is out of stock" but no way to get the Available label to show up. I'm on PS 1.6.0.11, using Stock Management (not the Advanced Stock Management though). Tried to clear cache and Force compilation but nothing. Using Warehouse theme.

I checked the product.tpl and it seems fine (attached here in zip format)

Any help/suggestion?

Thanks in advance,

Marco

Hi, I might have figure it out why is no longer appearing the Available label even if product quantity is >0. But still I do not know how to fix it.

Apparently something changed last time I upgraded some modules (I cannot remember which one was).

In previous PS versions but also when I installed the latest release even if was not typing any text to be displayed when the product is on stock there was some "standard" text available in the FO. Now unless I type in the text there is none, even in the Translation module there is no more the possibility to change per each language the word "Avaialble".

Why is that? I have a catalogue of more than 1500 ites and a shop in 4 languages. Typing the same words 4 timeas each items is a huge waste of time!!!

Any suggestions from anyone?

Thanks

Well, yes I did...the only way for people like me that have a huge (and growing) multilanguage product catalogue to quickly insert the appropriate texts in the 2 fields available in the "Availability Settings" is to do a straight write in the correct DB table. In this case the table is the one named "ps_product_lang" (name could be different if modified during the PS setup) and the two fields to be written are "available_now" and "available_later" (the two are replicated for each product as many times as the languages utilized in the shops).

Best Rgds.
