PeterVajda
Hi everybody, Do you also experience issues with 1-click upgrade? We cannot upgrade from 1.6.0.9 to any newer version. - No errors shown in debug mode - 1-click update module was several times reinstalled - Tried with all non-native modules disabled All what happens is endless turning of loading icon in the upper left corner. I will appreciate any help, hint or a solution. P. S.: I posted this topic two days ago and it was deleted immediately, hopefully this time it will be OK. shacker
try to download the version to your local filesystem, and select the advanced upgrade to choose from local upgrade
PeterVajda
try to download the version to your local filesystem, and select the advanced upgrade to choose from local upgrade Already tried that. I am able to find the local .ZIP with new version, but after saving new configuration (to use the local file), nothing happens. Only the everloading sign in the upper left corner. PeterVajda
Hi, I continue to find a solution for this issue. The only errror in console is: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'nextQuickInfo' of null I tried virtually everything suggested: - Disabled non Prestashop modules - Reinstalled 1-click upgrade - Tried to use local archive (this is not working too) - Tried to update without making a DB backup (I backed the DB up manually) - Tried step-by-step mode - Also when "Display PHP errors" is on, I do not see any errors, so the issue starts probably in the some of very first steps I will appreciate any help. PeterVajda
put another admin folder with another url, , uninstall autoupgrade, reinstall, try again Hi Shacker, Thanks for the tip. I did that - no success. Still the same javascript error. Any other ideas?
shacker
you test in other browser right? and you dont have cloudflare or media servers installed?
PeterVajda
you test in other browser right? and you dont have cloudflare or media servers installed? Tested in IE, FF and Chrome, different computers too. Everywhere the same error in console: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'nextQuickInfo' of null. When I commented this line out (1461 in my case), some things changed in interface of the module, but still no success. Also in Version comparison I see only: PrestaShop Original version: undefined Differences between versions: undefined I would suggest that the issue is in this javascript error. Or do you have this error too?
shacker
is the latest autoupgrade version? try this one https://github.com/PrestaShop/autoupgrade
bellini13
try downloading v1.4.8 of the autoupgrade module directly from the addons store. I suspect you are using v1.4.7 or older which likely does not work with PS v.12 or .

I suspect you are using v1.4.7 or older which likely does not work with PS v.12 or .13 Thanks for the tip, but that was first what I tried - same result with 1.4.7 and 1.4.8 and for PS v.12 and v.
bellini13
Then I would highly suggest that you report the issue using the Prestashop Forge. PS developers do not review or provide solutions on the forums.

maxfox44
I never did manage to upgrade from 1.6.0.9. But after taking advice from El Patron (Moderator) on here, I decided that there was no advantage in upgrading yet.
imoyano
For me, the problem was solved once I followed the advice provided here http://forge.prestashop.com/browse/PSCSX-6923 (Folder permissions)

mslepko
This is an old post but just in case somebody occurs the same issue. I've disabled backup option in 1-click upgrade configuration section and upgrade process finished successfully. With backup enabled I was getting this error in console is: Uncaught TypeError: Cannot read property 'nextQuickInfo' of null
tuk66
It could be caused because of many reasons - missing zip feature, low server resources (timeout, memory, file system quota), permissions.
