preview.jpg File - I have searched the forum

I am completely lost as to which file does the preview.jpg image. I have looked at multiple index.php's in the various themes folders, and searched this forum trying to find the name of the file or the process. Which file do I need to take a screenshot of? I have tried going to the index.php page after I have uploaded the theme. No luck.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The preview.jpg file isn't automatically generated. You must take a screenshot of the theme yourself, then save it as preview.jpg in the theme's directory. The image is used only to display a preview of the theme on the Preferences > Appearance tab.

I can't see the preview of my store. I have currently my domain with Squarespace. So every time I click to see the preview of the store it directs me to the current website.

 

How am I going to see the changes in the new store design?
