Global variable on TPL

Hi,

 

Does anybody have any idea why that all Prestashop's smarty global variables like {$base_dir}, {$modules_dir}, etc are coming empty on a tpl module file? Shoud I assign them or they come assigned by default?

Is strange, these variables are global and should be available in whatever tpl file.

Yes, it is... It usually works perfectly. Would you please try to get any global variable from this specific file like {$modules_dir}

 

\admin\themes\default\template\controllers\cart_rules\form.tpl

 

Even it's a native Prestashop code it can simulates my problem...

 

I don't know if I'm doing something wrong or if there's some specific restriction...]

Ok, but keep in mind that global variables of front office are not the same of the back office.

I thought the global variables were available for both (front and back office). Anyway, your explanation was very useful, even if only to make me sure that I'll have to assign them manually through my PHP. Any other suggestion will be very welcome.
