How to remove "In Stock" and "Out of Stock" option from categories.

Hi,

I want to remove "In Stock" and "Out of Stock" option from categories.  On My categories page under each product it is showing and i want to remove this. and in my order page this is coming aswell. i want to remove it from categories and order page. screenshot is attached. please have a look on screenshots and help me to solve this.

after a deep search i have find the solution, its very easy. from back end > Preferences > Product Stock > turn to "NO / Disable"  Enable stock Management System.

Is there a way to just remove the label from category pages? I need to keep them on product pages but remove them from view on categories and I can't find any way to do this.

Just discovered how to achieve this myself with a little testing. For anyone else who wants to remove it from category listings (primarily for SEO purposes)

 

Locate the product-list.tpl (in themes folder)

Scroll down and comment out from:

<span class="availability">

to just below the last instance of

</span>

 

This will remove all visible sign of "IN STOCK" or "OUT OF STOCK" from the category page items, while leaving them in place on the product page itself.
