tomerg3
You should consider switching to bluehost.com (or another host, but there is no easy way to keep the database under 100mb), I use it for all my sites and my clients. My sites that are stored on one shared machine there get over 30,000 visitors a month, and I see no traffic issues or slowdown. They offer great rates, and great support (24/7 live chat). If you decide to use them, please use this link as I am an affiliate http://www.bluehost.com/track/tomer
scottyboy
I'm with 1and1 and really don't want to have to switch. Is there a way to delete old orders off the database to keep it in shape? - I could then just save my database at the end of every month and retreve any old order info using my localhost server shop. tomerg3
I think the tables that take the most disk space are connections and connections_page, they hold the visitor / referrer information. You should see how big they are on your server, and consider backing up and emptying them. Site
Did you find a way of disabling the data for those tables?
