Petra Pitstop
Do you lose order history when upgrading from v 1.5.3 to v 1.6.0.9 ?
tdr170
You should not all orders, customers, products, images and so on should remain, before you upgrade be sure and create a backup of the original shop and database, this way if something goes wrong you can use the backup to restore your shop and try again. nhproject
Dont worry, we made a lot of upgrades from 1.4 to 1.6 and all order histories still alive. Any way, don't forget to make a backup before to start the upgrade and make it first in a local host if you have a critical shop Edited February 23, 2015 by nhproject (see edit history)
Petra Pitstop
Thank you both of you, I now feel confident in giving the upgrade a whirl (after I back up everything of course!). Cheers! Petra

El Patron
are you doing this on a copy of your production shop? Is so what environment did you set it up in? If copy that you can 're-do' upgrade, then don't upgrade 1.5.3 to latest 1.6, first upgrade to last 1.5 then upgrade again to latest 1.6.

Petra Pitstop
Hi, I upgraded ok and installed new theme, but the CS Static Block is not working. It is not showing any of the block items in the module configuration in the back end, or on the front end. I have tried reinstalling, but no success. Please help!
