Seank
Just in the middle of designing my first Prestshop store (very impressed with it too!). Been using Firefox and all looks good - however, just looked at in in IE8 and it doesn't work well at all!Using Wiznav, the Linkslide module for the central image and Sliding accordion categories block v1.6 for the categories. In Firefox they all work, but in IE8 the Linkslide module doesn't show and the accordian menu just shows all the sub-categories without the accordian effect. Also, the shopping cart doesn't look right either!Firefox screengrab on the left, IE8 on the right.Any have any ideas how to fix??Cheers
alpaca
I would be interested to see the link to test IE8, Firefox and IE7. Please also check your PM's, I wanted to ask you something.
Seank
HiSorry, yes, the URL is www.gothicheart.co.ukJust been playing with the site and it looks like it's the Linkslide module - if you look at the 'Positions' tab, it is placed twice - in Homepage Content and Header Of Pages - if I remove it from Header Of Pages, then IE8 displays the site properly BUT the Linkslide module disapears from the homepage!Cheers for looking! alpaca
Hmmmm - this is also happen in ie7.Are you sure it's not your editorial above the featured products that is the culprit and not the slider. In other words the slider will not load until it can get post your banner loading. I do realise this is an isolated to ie. Try remove the banner and then try load in IE again. What happens? Seank
It's definitely the Linkslider module - removing the editorial makes no difference. I have also tried the EditorialSlider module - that works fine but I wanted one that I can edit the images in admin... If I can't fix it, then I will go back to that one

Seank
No - going to go back to the EditorialSlider module - that seemed to work OK
Radu
check to see if it's a javascript error. You can check it using the firefox javascript tool.I suspect there is a javascript error and IE doesn't like it and just stops the rest of the javascript code.
