2 homepages for different locations?

Hi,

I am looking at adding some more features to my site, i can see on some websites that there is an ability for sites to have more than one homepage with everything the same except the text, allowing the site to be searched for in different locations depending on what they search. For example if they search Birmingham as the location, my website will appear under the Birmingham location, or if they search London, the London homepage will appear in search results.

I hope this makes sense, if not then here is a good example of what i would like to have on my site:

 

this is an example of 1 homepage

and now another

You can use the multistore function of prestashop for that but be careful of duplicate content. Or you could create a geolocalisation condition in the indexController that will load an alternative version of the template depending to the place the customer is

In order to be safe, you should have enough text variation so that the search engine bots do not identify them as duplicate contents. Otherwise this will impose negative seo effect.
