kdmonk1
Is there a way to disable the add to cart button once an item has been added to the cart? I would also like a way to make the item available again if the customer removes the item from the cart?

kdmonk1
What are you trying to accomplish? I would like to disable the add to cart button when a user adds the product to their cart. Example: If I have 1 item in stock and the customer adds the item to their cart, I would like to disable the button so that any other user that hits that page within that time will not add to their cart. Its more of a user experience to keep the customers happy. Not to get their hopes up when they get to checkout and find out that the item is not in stock because they missed out on purchasing it a minute or 2 minutes later. Dh42
There is really nothing to figure out. This is something that would take a lot of custom code to accomplish. I understand the principal, I also understand that a bot would shut your site down too since a lot create fake carts. I think this is something that you would have to hire a developer to do since it is fairly complex and will be time consuming.
