How to check latest products added into a web store?

Recommended Posts

Hi guys,

This might sound a bit crazy but the one who asks is not lost or so they say...  .

I would like to check new (latest products) on few e-commerce websites.

Some of these websites are build on Prestashop, others on some other open source platforms and some are custom-made.

Many of these have section, usually a module/plugin that displays these products, but there are some that dont use them, or have disabled it.

Also, sometimes when prestashop is powering the website, I can type domain name / new-products (if owner used default URL) to check the products but I cant do the same with lets say Magento or openCart store...

Is there some way to check latest products to a web store no matter on which platform is it build?

Thank you

Hi Dolke!

Is your question related to your signature? ;)

Ok just kidding. I think if such a tool existed, it would just be an interface joining together the multiple tools that would be used to scan stores that are built with different frameworks. One tool for each framework.

As for custom-made stores, I don't know how you would do that.

That's just my non-developer opinion

haha Xavier you made me and my office comrades laugh :)

Well I wont be telling the complete truth if I would say no :)

I know there is no tool for that, its not real to have one but still there are certain platforms like Prestashop that has built-in
module for displaying latest products.

Like fred-vinapresta stated (thank you btw :)) i just wanted to know what would be the way to check these URL if there is way after all :)
