installing prestashop 1.6 on vps

Can You Please tell us,if we have two websites built within prestashop 1.5 and that are running smoothly,if we have made new website in prestashop ver1.6 then 

we have to update it on server.

 

the above case fill damage our previous two website or that will be unaffected.??

 

Can you please tell us how can we install prestashop ver1.6 on our vps as centos.

Is adding a new Prestashop instance on your VPS can affect performances of your actually installed instance?

 

The answer is yes.

The more shop served by your server, the more thruput/visitor/page/mysql query it has to serve,

hence if all shop receive traffic at the same time your performances will degrade.

 

At some point consider 1CPU per concurrent hit if below 4 and 1 CPU per 4 concurrent hit if more than 4.

This is a thumb rule and can really varies based on the volume of your catalog and avail. memory.

actully lets understand with an example,we have two website as

 

xyz.com

123.com

both above made with prestashop 1.5

 

 

and we just developed another website myname.com  which has prestashop ver 1.6

 

 

 

our question is if we upload myname.com(presta1.6) on our current server so will this one function correctly or not??

 

or if we update the version on our server to prestashop 1.6 then doing this will affect 

xyz.com

123.com both prestashop 1.5.

Well sound like you have little to no knowlege in this area. (no offense in that every one its speciality).

Normaly, done properly adding yet another web site to a server has no impact on existing ones,

but I recommend you take some professional person to do so.

 

Better safe than sorry.

And simply creating a new web service + deploy a PS should not be a real costly operation from professional service company.

 

I recommend you do so. Frankly!
