cherisx
I have tried 4 times now to install prestashop and cannot get past step 4 in the process. First of all, I posted a thread about not seeing a php folder for step 2 and not seeing the dll file mentioned in step 2. I don't know if that is the problem or not.I am using GoDaddy.com Linux server to host and I have seen others say this was an easy install. The installation wizard works fine up through step 4. I enter all the Merchant Admin info and press Next and it seems to do something but nothing actually happens. It just sits there. I press Next again and again, it seems to try to do something but remains on step 4.If I switch to another tab I am able to access the front end of prestashop but there is no way even after deleting the installation file and renaming the admin file that it recognizes me as an employee. Any help on this or my other post about step 2 would be greatly appreciated.

cherisx
I did see a thread where someone had a similar problem (not exactly the same) and the solution was found where they had to alter the mysql files. That is way to complex for me. I do not know how to edit a mysql database. I wanted something that was easy to install. And easy to work on in the backoffice as the owner knows very little about html or websites. She got confused when I asked her to look at the demo. cherisx
Thanks for your response but it didn't work for me. I've given up on prestashop and have gone with a much simpler app called ecwid.com. Perhaps I'll try it again when they have improved on their installation instructions.
