Installation Instructions - GoDaddy

Recommended Posts

I am hosting with GoDaddy on Linux. I just started reading these installation instructions and am already stumped. I created a database and then moved on to the next step of the instructions. It says:
#2 Turn on GD Library functionality. On a default installation of PHP, the GD Library is turned off. The standard Windows instructions are:
1. In the root directory of your PHP folder, open the php.ini file.
2. Uncomment the line extension=php_gd2.dll (about half-way through the file, in the middle of a long list of extensions) by deleting the ;
3. Restart the services.

I found the php.ini file in the root directory but not in a php folder
There is nothing about php_gd2.dll in this file. In fact it is exactly the same as the php.ini file that is included in the prestashop folder.

Where do I find this php_gd2.dll info to uncomment?

Hi all, i want to try out Prestashop and i´m already stuck on step 2 of the installation instructions. Can´t find that line in my php.ini. Searched through these forums but no clear answer. My website is being hosted on a linux platform. Also i´m wondering how i should restart services on a hosted webspace.

Please help
