Stuck at "2" during installation

I am following the installation procedure and am at the wizard stage and am at 2 System compatability.
IT tells me the following settings are required.
The only thing listed is "Optional set-up".
That does not appear anywhere in the Documentation Wiki or as a file/folder in the FTP files.
Nor does it appear in the installation instructions.
What the heck have I done wrong?

I also was unsure what to do with step 2 of the installation instructions.
I am using a GoDaddy Unix hosted site using PHP5 and mysql 5.
I set up mySQL db in the GoDaddy hosting area.

The only php.ini file I see is the one that was there when I opened my FTP from my GoDaddy hosting site, and this line; extension=php_gd2.dll, did not exist.
There is no PHP folder that I can see, so I am not sure to what you are referring.

upgrade option worked for me ..may be u try upgrading it from 1.2 to 1.3 etc

Thanks for the tip, but I dropped out .

Using Wordpress now (much easier setup), and planning to use Ecwid (www.ecwid.com) for the shopping cart app.

this is probabily one of the best cart..light weight ,fast and fairly simple to use and customise.

the community is active too..

which webhosting ur using ?if 000webhost disable analytics code for ur site.the install will go thru.

I having the same issue using http://www.000webhost.com hosting. As far as I can see all my setting should be all right.
I have double checked my file/folder permissions ten times
Any ideas what can be the root cause for the issue?
