[SOLVED] Changing Weight Denomination

Hi,

The product weight set up within Prestashop is great but does anybody know how to change the weight denomination from kg's to lbs?

I realise you can convert the metric weight to pounds by multiplying by 2.2 but if a clients entire product range is weighted in lbs this doesn't really help.

Any feedback, comments or suggestions gratefully received.

You can go to Preferences > Localization to change the weight unit from "kg" to "lbs". This will change the text only and will not do any weight recalculation.

What if I wish to set lbs for Americans
and kg for the rest of the world?

There is no way to do that in the Back Office. The only way should be to edit code and write something like this pseudocode:

if $country is 'USA' then display lbs else display kg

You'll need to be more specific about where you want the weight updated in the Front Office before I can write actual code.
