kmetek
Hi i'm new here and have few questions: I made a test webstore, selling computer items....webstore has 11 phsyical stores located thoughout the country in different cities. I added stock of items differently to each of 11 stores randomly. I choose 1 carrier. I would like to choose multistore option as a customer. Question 1: How can customer see stock information of selected item, so he can choose from which store they send him the product or that he can go buy product in store? On site there's only info "available stock"... Question 2: I made 11 warehouses = 11 stores so i added stock for each item so the quantity of item is shown as total on webstore. When customer orders online an item it decreases from 1st in line? Still trying to figure out how exactly multistore works...... Question 3: I couldn't choose carrier "MAIL SHIPPING" but had to choose the main WAREHOUSE not shipping carrier itself, why? SOLVED..... Question 4: Why are prices shown without vat/tax? SOLVED...GROUPS>CUSTOMERS "METHOD SHOWING PRICE" Edited February 10, 2015 by kmetek (see edit history)

helldog2004
A little Google does the trick, take a look at this module for PrestaShop. This might be a good solution to let visitors pick there store to pick-up from. http://en.e-abi.ee/store-pickup-for-prestashop-unlimited-number-of-pickup-points.html Cheers, Henk

helldog2004
Now about your tax. Try the following. Go to customers --> groups. Select a group you want to edit and change from the drop down list to "tax included". This should make the prices including tax. helldog2004
No about your carriers, you probably selected advanced stocking management as enabled. This will also place all carriers inside your management. This also means that all carriers inside your stocking management will be used for these products. The only thing you are saying, is that these products will be send from a certain warehouse (which has a couple of carriers connected to this warehouse). Then all the products connected to these warehouses will also be connected automatically to these carriers. So make sure the carriers are connected with the correct warehouse. And make sure that the products are connected with the correct warehouse. They will all be tied together. Hope this helps. P.S. I couldn't find any free modules this quickly. But it do was the cheapest one so far.
helldog2004
About question 2. If all the shops sell the same products but within different countries but from one warehouse. Then I would add the products to advanced stock management and connect all these shops to this warehouse. Now, if a products is sold from webshop A it will also automatically be reduced from webshop B, C and more if they are connected to the same warehouse it is. kmetek
the story is like this: Same country of course... Computer store with webshop with it's separate central warehouse + 11 retail stores with its own stock of items and etc.... Customer goes online to check an item which is not online in stock but it's in retail stores...how to combine that to be displayed....i know it's possible QUESTION 3 CARRIER fixed 1 and 2 remains stil at large : Edited February 8, 2015 by kmetek (see edit history)
helldog2004
Here is a manual about the multistore in PrestaShop. http://doc.prestashop.com/display/PS15/Managing+Multiple+Shops#ManagingMultipleShops-Managingacataloginmultistoremode I think you are referring to "managing a catalog in multistore mode", which describes how you can assign products for each individual store but by using one central warehouse. So all products will be stored in your warehouse, where you can keep track of all products being stored in 11 different shops. Let me know if this solved your problem. About question 1, the paid module is the only solution so far. With that I can't help you any further.
