Lightsource Media
Just to add:I am running my test store on the GoDaddy Linux Economy Hosting using their PHP5 and MySQL 5 install.PrestaShop 1.0.0.8 works just fine *including* URL Rewrite (or at least it does as far as I can tell). As per the note in the backoffice, I had to rename the Prestashop supplied htaccess.txt to .htaccess to kick it into life, that's it. Rod
I also has this problem. Any solution. I do not use SSL certificate. Is this the reason that URL rewrite do not work.
QuadDamage
I'm having the same problem with Godaddy.com. They suck. What's so hard about letting URL rewrite work? Isnt this a number one feature for any host you pay money for? I think this is sad. I've never had any problems with free hosts, other than temp. outages.I was told to include RewriteEngine onRewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^XXXXXX\.comRewriteRule ^(.*)$ http://www.XXXXXX.com/$1 [R=permanent,L] But I have no clue where to stick that in the .htaccess fileCan anyone help me with th proper placement of this so I can test?Ill be sure to include my results. MahmutGulerce
hiDid you ask support from daddy ? Most of hosting providers like the Godaddy cant have identical same server with equivalent configuration. So you server may have diffent configuraiton. Your htaccess seems well and godaddy works fine for many others.

rusmini
Godaddy only allow URL Rewrite on LINUX HOSTING PLAN.Your generation of .httaccess will working on it, while Godaddy's Windows Hosting won't work properly even if you have generate it.
