[SOLVED] Home category - where is it?

Hi,

I've instaled new wersion Presta (Version 1.2.5.0).
I just finished translation, but I cant find, where I can Translate "Home" category?
in subcategory it is easy, but "Home" is fixed, there is no to translate in "Translations", tpl, and php...



---SOLUTION---

This Main category is hide in MySQL database. It is generated during instalation, and unfortunaltely it is inpossible to edit it from BO. So you can edit database.
I've changed it from "Home"-->"Category", because home is for me "Homepage".

I think you must go to Tools > Translations, click a flag next to "Front Office translations", then search for every "Home =" and write the translation in the text field next to it. You'll need to do the same with "Modules translations".

It's done, as I menton beafore, but doesn't help.

Problem is that in Front Office in horizontal top menu the main category is "Home" and I can't change it (translate).

Is that a third-party module? Perhaps the author forgot to make that text translatable.

where should I change in db? tried category_lang without success

Sorry, I've no acces to my db, my friend did it. But he find it without any problem, and solved it, so you can do it too!
Search in some category table for "Home".

found it change only your language, id_lang =4 for me

That "Home" is not translatable. Have to translate it via database manipulation.

If you want this feature added to a future version of Prestashop, you should post a "feature request" on the bug tracker.

Hi Just to let you know I found this response on a different presta shop thread, which takes you to PHPMY Admin instead, there you can change the "Home" category to what ever you like, I chose "products" in the tables that support your website

Thank you so much for this! It's been bugging me ever since I first started trying Prestahop out. Why does it have to be like this? I am sure may people need to change the name for category Home to something else.
