multishop limits?

Hi all,

 

I would like to know is there's some kind of limit for a multishop configuration.

 

I know that Magento with many SKUs and shops have some problem with indexing, how Prestashop will perform in that situation?

Our company is having the same question: "We would like to know: is there's some kind of limit for a multishop environment by prestashop. - is the number of shops limited?" is it possible to run 1.000 up to 100.000 shops or more?

 

Our company is thinking about switching from xt-Commerce to prestashop. Driving lots of multishops is necessary for us, as we do run an affiliate powered project with lots of partners.

i guess the first limit will be by webserver and the machine running on, any prestashop limitations we should be aware of?
