Hide Avail Column In Checkout

Recommended Posts

Hi Everyone

I'm using PS 1.6.0.11.

I'd like to hide the Avail Column in my checkout because I allow ordering regardless of stock levels so now everything shows as "In Stock" at the checkout.

I simply can't know for sure if there will be stock because I rely on around 12 distributors to fulfil orders but not all of them give me a stock feed so while I know if something is in stock, I don't know for sure if it isn't. Therefore I need to remove any mention of "In Stock" at the checkout.

Is there any easy way of doing this?

Cheers

Nick

Are you using a custom template or the default one? Basically, you have to get rid of it in shopping-cart.tpl and shopping-cart-product-line.tpl, then reduce the colspan attribute on all the other rows on the first file I mentioned

Bump.

I have the same issue. I allow out of stock purchase, but even if the product is out of stock on the product page, it says "In Stock" in the checkout summary. I could remove the row content, but in the <thead> there is still the "Avail." column. I can't get it out of there.

I am using prestashop 1.6.0.9 with custom template. I already tried to negate every $PS_STOCK_MANAGEMENT if argument, but no matter what changes I make to shopping-cart.tpl, they do not apply. I have cache deactivated.

Thanks
