referral program

So i found the referral module and set it up, not completely sure i understand how it works.  Once someone becomes a sponsor they get x dollars for each one of their friends and their friends, or just them and their friends.

 

for example:

 

joe buys something and becomes a sponsor

 

he gets 5 of his friends to also buy something

 

so

 

A. joe gets a voucher for x dollars x number of friends and each friend also gets a voucher for x dollars

B. joe gets a voucher for x dollors x number of friends for himself only

C. All 6 sponsors get a voucher for x dollars each.

 

Here is how i have it written up please let me know if i am wrong... i did add the order min amount im hoping PS will add that freature soon. 

 

 

Referral Program Rules:

 

Our referral program currently rewards you and your friends for sending us customers and they buy a product or service from us.  Currently it takes one sale to become a sponsor (meaning you need to make a purchase yourself).  Then you need to get 5 friends to buy from us and we will give you a voucher for  $5.00 USD for you and a voucher for $5.00 USD for each of your friends that become a sponsor as well. 

 

The purchase price or order value must be $10.00 or more to qualify.    (i hope PS can add this feature for min order amount)

Does that sound right?

update:  well that covers the affiliate side of it but not the friends part of it, so the question still stands. thanks

got it , they each get $x discount... as long as the friend makes a purchase
