Presta Shop 1.6.0.11 admin screen messed up

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I am making a prestashop store for my self and its all messed up after i did the 1.6.0.11 upgrade.

The backoffice dashboard has gone weird and am unable to do anything. The UI seems to have lost all the look and feel.

Thanks to god that atleast my front end of store is working fine. I have attached a screenshot for your reference please let me know what can be the issue and solution.

HUrry bcoz my elder bro is going to kill me if he knows i messed up !!!!!!

Adding some more info: The back office page that i showed above generates this source code to load page.  I observed that the HTML content of header is not shown here.

See attached screenshot

Regards,

Anish

Hello,

I have the same problem. The last time I used the back office was on January 27 and everything was ok.

On January 30 I tried to login in the back office but the admin screen was messed up.

Problem started to appear without any reason, I did not made any change in the BO.

I have Prestashop 1.6.0.9. I checked the console in Chrome browser and it did not show any errors.

Please help.

Count me in i also have the same issues on my prestashop 1.6.0.9 without doing some changes on my website.

I was opening my BO and the same appears as other also had, what the heck could caused this suddenly without doing something.

I also do not have any errors when i have debug mode enabled ??

Any news on this.

Edit: Just did a upgrade to latest version off PS but still no luck and whole Admin is still messed up .

Disabed non native modules and overrides but that also not works, would be nice if someone could point us in the right direction.

Thanks.

Best regards,

Hello Shacker ;)

Thanks for your suggestion it worked perfectly.

No need for uploading the whole admin folder again just renaming the admin folder to something else fixed the issue and it works right away.

But what caused this issue ? More people with the exact problems and without changing anything that could cause this issue ?

Anyway thanks again buddy ;)

Best regards,

as my view, can be cache related, or upgrade some files (maybe a module or automatic upgrade of the modules). I see some servers do maintenience and move from one disk to another, and sometimes get corrupted files (you dont know when the server performs this tasks).

Remember, Nothing happen when nothing happens, when anything happens, must be  for something

My backoffice is working again.

1. I deleted the admin folder, uploaded a fresh copy of admin folder , and renamed it. Did not help.
2. Then I followed the instructions given here:

3. After that I disabled cloudflare (it also caches my website data) and tried after 10-15 minutes. It worked. Now cloudflare is enabled.
4. Activated everything in CCC (Combine, Compress and Cache) section.

Now its working fine. Hope this problem does not happen again.

I think this problem was caused by cloudflare (partially). Atleast in my case. When I enabled cloudflare, problem started again. Problem gone when I disabled cloudflare. However, I enabled cloudflare again yesterday but I haven't seen the problem till now on my BO. Have opened a ticket at cloudflare helpdesk. Lets see what happens.

This might be caused by a couple of things Dabluesfreak,

1. Did you move your website to another hosting company? Maybe check if your website uses friendly URL's. If so, please disable for a moment, save it and enable it again. Clear cache afterwards.

2. It seems like your backend is fetching your CSS files from a wrong directory and can't find the files. You can check this by right mouse button and click on view source. There should be a couple of URL's in the header looking like this:

<link href="http://yourwebsite.com/folder/yourcss.css" rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" media="all" />

If you click on this link and it is redirecting to your css file then this is set up correctly, if not, the path is wrong and should be set.

Hope this brings you on the correct patch.

Henk
