Lpeek
Is this normal? or has the setup gone wrong somewhere? In the back office all my product thumbnails just display the little red cross 'image not found' symbol. This has always happened since installation. Everything works fine, its just displaying the thumbnails. Also if i go into the product I can see the images ok under the images tab, it's only the thumbnails that appear in the catalogue back office. Thanks
JAKCRABBIT
Do you have in:BO - Preferences - Image:Small 45x45Products: YesCategories: YesManufacturers: YesSuppliers: YesScenes: NoWhen you dont have set it, so configure thumbnails for it and click on REGENERATE THUMBNAILS. Lpeek
Hey Jakcrabbit, thanks for your help, but yes everything is set like that. If I remember correctly they havent worked since installation, so I dont think it's anything that has been changed like that... Also its the same on all of my shops... which are all on the same server... could it be anything related to the server?
JAKCRABBIT
I dont know what is wrong, do you have thumbnails of it on server?
Lpeek
Im not quite sure if the thumbnails are there... the file path seems quite odd... and when I copy it into the browser I am not taken to an image, i am taken to the shops front end landing page... which would suggest that the image does not exist?here it is from the properties of one of the images:http://www.MYDOMAIN.co.uk/img/tmp/product_mini_33_0.jpgis that correct? JAKCRABBIT
this is not correct...this is only temporary dir for uploading and import, but finish dir is "p"
Lpeek
Thats exactly what I thought... It's quite odd that the path is set up as the temp dir, I'll look into the coding and see why, and how to change it.Thanks! I'll let you know if I find what to change! Lpeek
Hey again, I've just looked into the ftp and the images DO exist in the tmp directory... but when I open any image in the tmp directory im just taken back to the front shop, why would that be?Still... The only way I can see to change the back office image path to 'p' instead of 'tmp' is to open all the pages that the files appear and edit the code, is that right? or is there a quicker way?Has anyone else had this problem? as it seems very odd that it's only me since it happens from a fresh install.
