Elaine Leung
By mistake I set each page with SSL at the beginning and I need to redirect 301 error. Please tell me what mistakes I made: (This is an example and I have lots of other error.) I want to redirect https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/home/20-samples.html to https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/blog The following are two examples I tried but does not work. I added them to .htaccess at root directory. Please point out what are my mistakes. Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteRule ^(https\:\/\/naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk\/en\/home\/20\-samples\.html)$ https\:\/\/naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk\/blog$1 [R=301,L] Options +FollowSymLinks RewriteEngine On RewriteCond %{HTTPS_HOST} ^naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk$ [OR] RewriteCond %{HTTP_HOST} ^naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk$ RewriteRule ^(https\:\/\/naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk\/en\/home\/20\-samples\.html)$ https\:\/\/naturalskincarelondon\.co\.uk\/blog$1 [R=301,L] In the webmaster tool: an error message on: http://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/home/20-samples.html when I clicked the link and it becomes https://naturalskincarelondon.co.uk/en/home/20-samples.html and error 404. The error message is increasing in Google Webmaster tool. Please help Elaine Edited January 27, 2015 by Elaine Leung (see edit history)
