blablablablablabla
I tried Prestashop (set up an account and basic shop) but it did not meet my needs. So I want to delete it but it seems more hard even though it should be a basic. It seems like i am the only person with such an issue or just am missing out on an obvious solution, but I indeed tried to find everywhere where one would commonly search for account deactivation. I would really appreciate help here.. I do not want just to make the website "hidden" or anything, I want to completely deactivate account and the webshop to have no trace of either. Best regards, Ruzanna

andrew1234
I am in the same boat. PrestaShop does not currently allow users to close their account. I do not think that this is good practice. To the PrestaShop employee whose job it is to review this forum (because there definitely will be someone assigned to that task), I ask that you have the courtesy to respond to this post. Either tell us that: there is no way to close our account, or there is a way to close out account, and advise us how to do it. El Patron
put shop in maintenance mode, back office-->preferences-->maintenance-->disable shop then simply point your DNS (domain name) to somewhere else... ps will (for cloud) delete shops who have had no activity, eventually. Best regards, Ruzanna Hi Ruzanna, If you need a front-office option for that, you can try this module: http://addons.prestashop.com/en/24118-deactivate-disable-account-front-office-feature.html It will allow users to deactivate / disable their accounts by themselves.
