Payment issue

Hi! I'm setting up my e-commerce and I'm having some problems with the payments.
First, the paypal button shows "Pay in 8x"  I've tried everything including re-install the module and nothing changes. What can I do to edit/change the payment buttons? For example, the Bankwire button Its huge!
Sencond, is it possible to set up the payments so the client at check-out, instead of paying immediately, receive a message like " We will check your order to confirm products availability to calculate shipping costs and to avoid getting paid without having the products to send you," ?
All options I've tried require immediate payment to complete checkout.
Sorry for bugging with this, i'm setting up the store all by myself and the only code I understand is "morse"
