Problem to remove URL

Hello,

I don't have too much experience but I just wondering how to remove the URL pernamently from my shop.

 

For example:

I had a webpage http://mossfree.co.uk/content/22-roof-cleaning but I deleted the content from CMS, and now when you click on this URL you will see "This page does not exist."

 

I would like to get:

Not Found

The requested document was not found on this server.

 

How I can do this ?

Hello,

 

1)Option

 

Go to backend side -> Preference -> CMS

 

See ID 22 (roof-cleaning)

 

Delete this record pernamently.

 

2)Option

 

Go to backend side -> Preference -> CMS

 

See ID 22 (roof-cleaning)

 

Click on Edit button

 

In edit page See One fields "Displayed" set it "NO"

 

Try it

Hello,

 

Thank you for the tips. I removed this subpage pernamently from CMS, there is no subpage with ID 22.

Still same problem.

 

But If you change the URL to i.e: http://mossfree.co.uk/content/3333-roof-cleaning - same problem - there is no ID 3333.

What I done in .htaccess I put this line:

Redirect 301 /content/22-roof-cleaning /page-not-found

 

It should resolve my problem.

 

Anyway thanks for help.

Just put the same content in page id 22 so as to display error type message.

And apply CSS onto it.
