philboy Posted January 20, 2015 Share Posted January 20, 2015 Hi, When I have a product and create lets say 3 combinations (a,b & c). I set the following quantities for the combinations: a=3, b=0, c=0. The combinations b and c aren't appearing on the front end. I would like these to still appear and have the 'Notify me when available' so the customer knows that we have 3 options available but just that b and c are currently out of stock. BarryH Posted January 21, 2015 Share Posted January 21, 2015 In the backoffice, turn on "Allow Out of Stock Purchase". I believe that there is a master default setting and each product also has the ability to select allow, disallow or do whatever the master setting says. philboy Posted January 22, 2015 Author Share Posted January 22, 2015 Hi Barry, Thank you for your reply. We don't want customers to be able to purchase out of stock products. We want the 'Notify us when available' message to appear and the ability for them to enter their email address so that when the product arrives back in stock, they will get an email and then hopefully purchase. This is working for products with no combinations. For products with combinations, if the combination has a stock = 0, currently it just disappears, it should still appear and when the customer tries to select it, they should receive the 'Notify us when available' message.
