Translate title of email order_return_state

I try to translate the title of the email from "Your order return status has changed" to german "Der Status Ihrer Rücksendung wurde geändert".

I tried to change it under Localisation > Translations

Then choose "E-Mail Template"

Your Template (or theme) "My custom Template"

Your language "German"

 

Then "predefined emails" > "order_return_state" i enter my translation. But after hitting "Save" and returning to this page, the title is empty again and when the email is sent it has the standard english message.

 

So how can i translate this?

 

BTW: I am also using eu-legal module, if that matters.
