wearmysample4ever
Hello everyone, I have encountered the dreadful 500 Internal Server Error! I still use Prestashop 1.5.6.2 because my theme is not compatible with the newer versions. My hosting provider is GoDaddy. I recently updated my Shipping options for my customers by adding International Shipping. I activated Countries and Zones and set up a fee based on weight. So far so good. When a customer registers with an international address they get the correct shipping fee assigned to their country. The problem comes when they click to get to the payment page they get a 500 Internal Server Error, the payment page doesn't display. If I try to register as a customer with a US address I don't get this problem and I am able to display the payment page, if i register with an international address i get a 500 Internal Server Error. My web site can be viewed at www.wearmysample.com/shopping I checked my Error Logs in my Control Panel and this is what I got: [Wed Jan 14 22:31:44 2015] [6949238] [fcgid:warn] [client 66.249.65.34:50164] mod_fcgid: read data timeout in 120 seconds [Wed Jan 14 22:31:44 2015] [6949238] [core:error] [client 66.249.65.34:50164] End of script output before headers: index.php I also got: Fri Jan 16 21:42:22 2015] [6949238] [fcgid:warn] (104)Connection reset by peer: [client 207.46.13.30:13515] mod_fcgid: ap_pass_brigade failed in handle_request_ipc function CAN SOMEBODY TELL ME WHAT IT MEANS PLEASE? DOES IT HAVE ANYTHING TO DO WITH THE 500 INTERNAL ERROR? I am not a developer so any tip or suggestion would be great. I am loosing potential sales because of this but i don't know how to fix it. Thank you. Rosanna Edited January 17, 2015 by wearmysample4ever (see edit history)
El Patron
Hi, sounds like you yourself are able to recreate this issue yes? If so to get the exact underlying issue that will help you bring resolution, use this tip, recreate and get the php error. https://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/224525-how-to-turn-on-error-reporting-for-debug-information/
wearmysample4ever
Hi Patron, I Enabled the Debug as instructed but now instead of getting a 500 Internal Server Error I get a blank page. No information at all. You can try at www.wearmysample.com/shopping if you put something in the cart and register with an international address when you click on payment you will get a blank page now!
