grorpe
I believe the main issues related to 1&1;were regarding PHP 5, url-rewriting, shell_exec functionHope that helps your searchCheersShane
rhoula
Thank you for your help guys. I followed some of the instruction and got it installed. I think one of the main problems is that when you upload the script to your server you may have some files missing. I went through all the files, almost one by one and found out that I had some files missing.Another problem was me using firefox, I kept on receiving the message "enable javascript" even if it was already enabled with my firefox, then I switched to IE and finished installing the script.Adding the .htaccess file is very useful also, I still need to add few more lines.I suggest that when trying to create your database with 1&1;to chose the version 5, that helped me get few problems solved. After few days working hard trying to solve the problem. Now I can say that I m so happy I chose Prestashop. Time for me to catch some lost sleep If you guys have any question please feel free to contact me Viva la PrestaShop
grorpe
Firefox has been having issues for a couple of months now (Have a look at their forums) so we have stopped using it until they get themselves sorted. If you have concerns with IE (doesn't everybody) then you could look at Safari. We have found it brilliant after working out the operating differences. Chrome is also quite goodCheersShane
