[SOLVED] New template = Language issue

Recommended Posts

Hi,

My prestashop is running with 2 languages, English and Spanish.
All modules are containing the translated file : es.php
in order to use my new template, i paste the es.php file from prestashop theme into the new one.

BUT still, my cart block, and as well Homefeatures, HomeCategories, are not showing the spanish translation, and when i switch the template with the old one, the translation show up correctly, so what i am doing wrong?

I tried to copy the language file from a template to another using the copy tool from Tools- Translations, but then i am getting an error :

Notice: Undefined offset: 2 in /Applications/MAMP/htdocs/prestashop/back/tabs/AdminTranslations.php on line 34

1 error

a part of the data has been copied but some language files could not be found or copied

but then when i m comparing the 2 files, they are similar, witch mean that the copy was successful .

Any Idea

Regards

Adel

Hi,

I LOVE IT

I found out the solution by myself !!! i just rename my new template folder "prestashop"

in the futur, it will be great if template provider tell us if we have or not to rename folder, will save us couple of hours ;-)

Happy New Years
