Loyalty points refresh issue

Hello all - I'm new to Prestashop - just getting to grips with everything, it's an amazing system.

 

I have a minor issue at the moment - if I go to a product page, it shows "By buying this product you can collect up to...." as I would expect. When I change any of the options for that product though (I have colours and sizes right now), the message changes to "No reward points for this product". If I refresh, it shows the correct number of points as before.

 

Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

EDIT: I forgot to mention, I'm using the default theme
