razvy
Hi, I want to install a Prestashop That I'll use only as library, I will not use it to sell any product => no income for me. The library will contain more than 50.000 products with 1 picture/product and 8-9 attributes. Layered navigation is a must. I don't want to pay a fortune for the hosting. I already tried a few known hostings like GoDaddy, iPage, Hostway, 1and1 and also some romanian hosting providers. None is good enough, with most I got stuck during installation of Prestashop or while importing the large .CSV file (even splitted in 100 products/session). Could anyone recommend me a good hosting for such an application? The budget is under 10$/month. Thanks a lot!
NemoPS
Honestly I think you should get a VPS at least with all those products + combos. I am not sure your budget is enough quite frankly
razvy
What kind of resources should I have? Anybody having experience with a 50.000+ products store?
Alex Nitu
Hi razvy, I'm searching for a somewhat similar answer since I want to do the same thing for my company website, but with around 10.000 products. The thing is that if you want to upload so many products you will need a sollution with VPS and probably much more capacity than most can offer for 10$. It is impossible but If you find a way with that budget, please let me know .
Naldinho
Under $10/month won't get you what you want. At least not in North America I can't speak for other geographical locations. You can probably get there at $30/month
