loybuckz
Hi there! I am trying to upgrade my Prestashop from version1.6.0.9 to 1.36.0.11 but when I try to switch off the smarty cache but after clicking on save, it goes back to ON. I hope someone can help me on this issue. Thank you in advance. Edited January 12, 2015 by loybuckz (see edit history)

robbie007
Maybe this one is helping you. Nemo added a solution as well! http://www.prestashop.com/forums/topic/391676-solved-problem-smart-cache-for-css-cant-turn-it-off-1609/
loybuckz
Using multistore? Check the PS_SMARTY_CACHE entry in the ps_configuration table in the db Thank you very much! No, I am not using multistore. I changed the smarty_cache value to 0 and smarty cache is now switched off. Now my problem is the other cache (on the bottom of the page), cannot be switched off. mytheory.
Thank you very much! No, I am not using multistore. I changed the smarty_cache value to 0 and smarty cache is now switched off. Now my problem is the other cache (on the bottom of the page), cannot be switched off. By "bottom of the page" I am assuming you are talking about the cache options at the bottom of the Advanced Parameters > Performance page. right? If so you can disable this by editing your /config/settings.inc.php file HTH!
El Patron
this is 'almost always' a result of an upgrade causing multple rows of same value in this case if you look carefully you may find more than one PS_SMARTY_CACHE in ps_configuration if so then delete either the first on nth, just as long as you have only one of them. the cache at the bottom is different, it will update config/settings.inc.php (see file for more info)
