Hack Attempt, Permissions Change & Stats gone as at January 1 2010

Three things have occurred overnight (New Years Eve - Jan 1st 2010).

1. I get a hack attempt error when i try to log in as a customer (front office)

2. I have no live stats anymore (back office: visitors, origin, etc)

3. The permissions in nearly all of my folders is suddenly 755, when they were nearly always 777.

Can any one help? Especially, i would like to know what each folders permissions ought to be. Is there a place where i can find this information? Thanks Heaps.

First response would be to contact your host. There should be an access log that can be checked.

Can you tell me about this problem:

I get this since 2010, my visitor report didn't insert to database at all.

oppps you just have to update the END date of the calendar. it will show updated visitors origin

What is the "end date" and where do i change it?

You learn something new everyday.

I had a problem with orders not showing in the BO home page (stats sales visitors etc etc). I did not link it to the new year. I have just changed the calender and it has give me the stats for sales now.

It is like online banking statements. You have to send a query for a set time span

eg: if you want to find out your stats for the last quarter, just enter 01/09/09 to 01/01/2010 and this will give you the information.
