B@ndit
Hi, I have been using Prestashop since version 1.4 and am now using 1.6, recently I was asked to offer a discounted price on some items which I did, no problem... Today I was asked to put up the following specials and I have to say Im stumped, Ive searched a lot of Prestashop info but cant seem to find what I need, so wonder if it is possible.. Ive been asked to add the following 6 x 250 Regalices for €9.99 (there are about 20 different colours available) 3 x 1kg Callebaut White/ Milk for €24.99 3 x PME Candy Buttons for €9.99 5 x PME Powder Colours for €9.99 5 x PME Lollipop Sticks for €9.99 3 x PME Lustre Sprays for €19.99 3 x REN Flower and Model paste for €9.99 (of which there are 5 different colours) 4 x PME Airbrush Colours for €9.99 (of which there are about 25 different ones) is there an easy way to do this? Im really confused Steven
Paulito
Hello I suppose the easiest way is to make these specials in to separate products then use Atributes and Values where they are needed, for example: Colours. Paul
B@ndit
OK, Thanks Paul. I will give it a go and see how I get on.
B@ndit
Think I just ended up confusing myself even more.... here is a more detailed picture of what I need... I need to have a Bundle available with several choices available So customers can choose from the following... Special Offer: 6 x Cake Icing for €9.99 I need the customer to be able to select different combinations, say 1 of each available colour and add to cart OR 4 of 1 colour and 2 of another.... does this make sense? I have added a new product with the 6 combinations but this only wants to allow the customer to select one at a time.... Will it be a case of customer clicking on 1 x colour and ADD to cart, then click another colour and ADD to cart or is there an easier way? Really confused. Any help appreciated. sandipchandela
What type of product offers you want to setup ? Is there any multiple scenarios or specified attributes combination you want to implement ?
B@ndit
We are a bakery supplier (to trade and to the public) we have some products set up as 1 item with several variations of colour (combibnations) but instead of offering a discount of a percentage for bulk buying we want to have a set price, normally a 250g block of Icing is €2.20 and we want to sell a bundle of 6 for €9.99. We want the customer to be able to see the bundle offer and click in, select 6 different colours and ADD to cart for the predetermined price of €9.99.... this is where Im getting confused as I have only done discounts using either €1.00 off or 10% discount options The attached screenshot is where I think I am messing up, its the Leave Base Price option.... should I change this? Actually I just unchecked the LEAVE BASE PRICE and entered 9.99, and now when I add 6 items to the cart it going up to €54..... Is there an easy way to acheive what I am trying to do? Screen cap can be seen here: www.homebaking.ie/shop1/screencaps/prestashop-pricing.jpg I chanded the backend to this www.homebaking.ie/shop1/screencaps/prestashop-pricing2.jpg and it brings me close to where I need to be but not exactly. Will I need to do new products for €9.99 and add the combinations, would this be the easiest thing all round? B@ndit
I have added one of my items as a new product, http://www.homebaking.ie/shop1/home/945-ready-to-roll-icing-250g-6-for-999.html and this is giving the desired result, now it it possible to ADD this product to the SPECIALS / PRICE DROP category as it is? thanks Steven
sandipchandela
you want to implement multiple selection of colors for product item ? right na? but user can select max 6 colors which are available ? What should be the scenario if user select less than 6 color then what price scenario will apply over here? This case is interesting.. Is this only product that you want to setup scenario like this or all the store products?
B@ndit
you want to implement multiple selection of colors for product item ? right na? Yes, correct but user can select max 6 colors which are available ? there are over 20 colours available but customer can select 6 for €9.99 What should be the scenario if user select less than 6 color then what price scenario will apply over here? If customer selects less than 6 then the price per item will be €2.20 This case is interesting.. Is this only product that you want to setup scenario like this or all the store products? This will only be used from time to time for special offers. Steven
sandipchandela
I have seen in files and classes and controllers. As per my view, prestashop doesn't give multiple selection of attributes ( here color or sizes ) on products page. Because, attribute type only limit to drop-down, radio button, color or texture. Although you can achieve this by adding attribute type in checkbox. Better to buy any module or hire developer for the job ! Best Regards
B@ndit
This is also happening at out website, when a customer clicks on http://www.homebaking.ie/shop1/stores to see our store (on the map) it quickly shows the map of Ireland then redirects to a different map in some other country if anybody has any ideas. sandipchandela
Check for module attribute wizard for what you are looking for. This module may help you.
