deliverycost depending on postalnumber

the shop is located in Gent. But far delivery's are handled by a carrier and costs are 10 euro (delicate transport : winebottles)

But for short delivery (20 km around Gent) I deliver myself : cost free

So I can define 2 different carriers (let say intern and extern)

But is it possible when a customer logs in or makes his account to take the carrier depending on his postale code ?

Or is here another way to deferentiate between carriers depending on the delivery-adress.

Prestashop out of the box works with Zones for dealing with carrier selection.  Zones are pretty much Continents by default, and do not support the use of Postal Codes or Zip Codes in its logic.

 

A google search for "prestashop module zones by zip codes" turns up several results, the first being this module.  Perhaps this will work for you
