How can I disable the colour picker in PS1.6 ?

Hi

 

My products are available in lots of different colours and it simply takes up too much space on the screen to have the colour picker on.

 

How can I disable it ?

 

In PS1.4 you could disable it via the Combinations page of each product.

Thanks for replying.  Customers can select colour via the drop down lists.

 

In PS1.4, you could disable the colour picker so you don't have lots and lots of colour squares on the page.

 

I have a .jpg image with the all the colours available for customers to look at and then select from the drop down list.

 

How is the colour picker disabled ?

sorry for late reply i haven't got notification that you replied here.

so, if you will change type of the attribute from "color" to "list"  you will not have color picker anymore

 

1) edit attribute http://i.imgur.com/bYjqPa4.png

2) change "attribute type" from color to dropdown list http://i.imgur.com/1QGDhzd.png
