robbie007
I just made a fresh install of Presta 1.6.0.9. Bought a theme and installed it. Now I want to turn Smart Cache For CSS off to develop the theme, but it's not working. It's constantly ON even when turned to OFF. So buttons in backoffice are working, but in the front end nothing changes. Smart cache for JavaScript does work without any problems. Please help! NemoPS
Hi Robert, Are you using multistore? If not,, check the ps_configuration table in the database, look for PS_CSS_THEME_CACHE and set it to 0. There might be multiple occurrences of it
robbie007
Hi Robert, Are you using multistore? In the database all the PS_CSS_THENE_CACHE fields have value 1. Have 4 fields with this value in PS_CONFIGURATION and 1 field in PS_CONDITION. Can I change it to 0 in PS_CONFIGURATION??? robbie007
Hi Nemo, Changed the values for PS_CSS_THEME-CACHE in PS_CONFIGURATION from 1 to 0. That's working, the CSS is not anymore combined into 1 file. But when I enable CCC of CSS it does not work, only when I go to the database and change value from 0 to 1 in PS_CONFIGURATION. What's wrong?
NemoPS
SInce there are 4 entries, 3 of them are duplicate. Is there a chance you can screen that part? WHich of the 4 is getting updated once you modify the back office setting?
vekia
if fields are duplicated (with the same shop id) you have to remove duplicated entries and leave there only one entry.
robbie007
I think some duplicates caused the problem. Installed the theme with a quick them installer from. Deleted it and installed it the normal way. Everything works fine now. Thanks for the support!

Valmiki108
Hello everyone! I have installed PS 1.6.1.4 on WAMP, created all the store and now I have just moved the whole thing on a external server. I haven't tested much yet coz I immediatly found out that I can't manage to turn Smarty Cache on. No problems with CCC or the modification of other settings through the BO, only Smarty Cache seems to be affected. I have followed the suggestions on this post and I can turn them on and off now through modification of the database now but unfortunately it still doesn't work through the BO. Don't see any duplicates in the database, all seems to be in order but obviosly is not. Can anyone help out?Thank you so much
