I need help in placing the hooks next to the slideshow in the front page (home page body)

To be honest I am not sure what you want to achieve (but that's probably me) but have you had a look at:

Back office > Modules > positions

there is displayTop hook

if you will move your module right after the slider module it should appear there where you want.

if it doesnt appear there - it's a case of css styles.

Wasn't css style... I just had to put it in "top". So stupid,
