Can't get google analytics to work in footer

I want the e-commerce addition to my analytics, and for that I need to use the script by pasting it into my code - which I did (inbetween {literal}...). But it doesn't work and won't track my visitors at all.

 

It only tracks if I use the modules, but then I won't get the conversions.

Hi,

 

The code need be in:

{literal}
CODE
{/literal}

before the tag </body> in the file footer.tpl of your theme

 

You need also to clear the smarty and theme cache.

I did. But doesn't work, no e-commerce stats go through - only the normal visitors-stats (by using the modules).

I also added a histats-script for extra stats (I like their stats) but it doens't work either. :/

I gave up on having it in the footer. It worked, but no e-commerce stats went through.

 

So I tried just using the modules for Google in prestashop. But still no e-commerce stats go to Google analytics. Anyone know what could be wrong?
