Problem trying to setup google checkout

I've tried to search for related threads but I couldn't find anything, if someone can point me to those threads that would be great.

So I'm trying to implementing google checkout and I use 1and1 as host.

We encountered an error trying to access your server at https://site.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php -- the error we got is javax.net.ssl.SSLException: Unrecognized SSL message, plaintext connection?

Does that mean I need SSL certicate from 1and1? because I cannot access https://site.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php myself because it doesn't exist. But if I remove the "s" in https then it will pop a login window. Even in Prestashop admin it says to put http://site.com/modules/gcheckout/validation.php as the API callback, but google demands links with https instead.

Any tips would be greatly appreciated.
