Prestashop 1.6.0.9 mobile theme not responsive theme

Hi,

 

I'm using a purchased theme, the thing is. this theme used way too many js and css in the header. which cost me high bounce rate in my google analytic. It's too slow to open a page. I'm currently trying to modify all the module and combine the  css manually. I tried to use the CCC function provided by prestashop, but everytime I turn on minify css, or especially javascript. the website just show white page.

 

Beside that, my mobile responsive version also load so many things that are not being shown in mobile. And so we want to develop a mobile theme dedicated for mobile only, to give a better user experience for mobile user.

 

I tried:

using the default theme, and turn on "turn on mobile theme for mobile and tablets"

then open mysite.com/mobile. But it ends up on error 404

 

NB: I use SEF url

 

Is there any of you that use mobile theme instead of responsive theme in ps 1.6.0.9?

This might also work on PS1.6 http://addons.prestashop.com/en/mobile/6165-prestashop-mobile-template-14.html

and it is free.
