emilg_fsdg
Hey guys, Fairly new to the awesome Prestashop platform. I am using 1.6x version. I am using Prestanshop as a 'portal'. So , currently, Prestashop is running in catalog mode. The actual cart&shopping functionality is being dealt by a separate reseller, so I do not need any cart functionality in Prestashop; only use Prestashop to showcase the products and show the prices (already found how to show prices in catalog mode). What I need now is to create one buy 'button' in all products' pages, which would re-direct all customers to the actual reseller's website. The buy button link would be the same for all products. Ideally, a buy button to replace the 'add to cart' would be the best idea, is this possible?
Tung at RockPOS.com
Of course, it's possible. But all of buttons will be linked to the same URL or different URLs? If so, what is the rule here?
emilg_fsdg
Thanks for the reply. All buttons linked to the same URL, yes So, one buy button for each product page, all with the same URL.
Tung at RockPOS.com
Oh, so just simply go to each template files and edit or override it by yourself. You also can develop a module, using javascript to insert the buttons on fly, but it's a bit complex if you are not familiar with that. cheers,

Tung at RockPOS.com
There are actually several places you have to edit in your theme. For example: - Homepage - Category page - Search page - Comparison page - Product page - Product page > tab Accesories - Manufacture page - Other modules: + Related products + New products + Bestsellers etc... I think you should pick up one of them and play with that, then if you have any trouble, post your specific question here, people will join and help you out. In my opinion, you should try with product page first. Locate the code where the button (Add to basket) is. Try to add your own code there. Hope this helps!
