mipapage
Hi there, I have been trying, like many others, it seems, to install the United Kingdom translation pack. I can choose it from the dropdown, PrestaShop tells me it worked, but voila! No translation pack, it actually installs EN_US. You know I would have chosen that if I wanted it! So is there a fix for this? I can download gb.zip from prestashop.com/en/translations, but manually installing that doesn't look like fun. We're on 1.6. eleazar
I'm sorry, but ... forget it! There won't be a fix available for a translation that doesn't exist. Just about 13 of 73 offered translations are yet completed - in principle of course, because currently fully translated and 100% approved it's just one: Turkish. About 9 or 10 translations normally reach the state of 100% approved whereas there are languages like e.g. Klingon (!), Bosnian or Breton with 0% completeness, closely followed by United Kingdom with poor 2% completeness. So ... feel free to contribute the missing 98%.
mipapage
Thanks eleazar. I noticed that the UK one is 46% or somewhere, and I'd love to help but I'm Canadian I have this friend in the UK who, whenever we get into disagreements about text, reminds me that they are 'the English' for a reason! eleazar
However, Canadian sounds good! What about a Franglais translation? Don't hesitate.
mipapage
Haha, I went to a French school and am working right now on a non-Prestashop French translation for a site, but my French-Canadian skills are not what they used to be!
